We start with original research — not summaries, not forums, not anecdote. Every compound in our catalog has a documented mechanism supported by peer-reviewed studies.
Mechanism Over Outcome
We prioritize understanding how a compound works at the molecular level before evaluating reported effects. Mechanism clarity is a prerequisite for inclusion.
Honest Uncertainty
We distinguish between what is well-established, what is preliminary, and what is speculative. We do not overstate the evidence base for any compound.
Safety Profile Review
Before any compound enters the catalog, we review available toxicology data, known contraindications, and any adverse event reports in the literature.

OVERVIEW
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) derived from a protective protein isolated from human gastric juice. It has been studied in over 100 animal model publications for effects on tendon, ligament, bone, muscle, and gastrointestinal tissue repair, as well as systemic organ protection.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Upregulates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and epidermal growth factor (EGF), accelerating angiogenesis at wound sites. Modulates nitric oxide (NO) synthesis bidirectionally — stimulating eNOS in endothelial cells while inhibiting iNOS-driven inflammatory NO overproduction. Activates the FAK-paxillin pathway, promoting fibroblast migration and extracellular matrix remodeling. Also interacts with the dopaminergic and serotonergic systems, with documented effects on neurotransmitter balance in CNS injury models.
